I've been wanting a p2p solution lately, because I can't seem to find all the hard-to-get music or individual files that could have only been found on p2p networks back in the day, but I didn't want to be at a great legal risk in doing so... So this is perfect! (for now)

[edit] Hmm, it seems like it decided to die and become 'indisponible' right when I linked it... Ah well...

So, life goes as it always does; work, wait for the weekend, work, party at night, then work at 9AM the next morning... It's good fun really... I have two days off starting tomorrow... So I may go on a gaming binge if I don't have to paint a garage like I said I'd do :( Or I'll sleep, and slowly fall into a 10-year coma. When I'd wake up, everything would be different... It'd make a good movie I think... I'd still have to paint that damn garage though...

I've been debating the whole going to Alberta thing, and as much as I don't want to leave... I know the end result will be worth it (ie. having the cash to become a writer)

I have the whole thing planned out really; I'll get the courses done with, and then move down south to either side of the continent to get a job with some kind of technology company. It's a genius idea I tell you. I'll have a small apartment that we'll all party and have burritos in...

This is just a funny Linkin Park vid I thought I'd share. Aside from not liking the idea of throwing the bass although looking kinda cool, Mike (the Fort Minor guy) was nearly impaled with it... Kinda funny, considering how much security is always around them and all of it falls down from one teeny tiny action.

Life has been peachy, but everything is so repetitive and I don't like the direction that it's going. I want to move away, but I don't want to leave some of the things that I have here. I started reading job postings all the way over in San Francisco on the net yesterday just because I could, and because maybe I could find something that would let me start a new life... as dumb as it sounds...

By the new year, I'll be moved to Alberta and be working in the oil fields making over $400 a day, but it's the furthest thing from what I really want.

I want to live here
I want to make music
I want her, and to give her everything
I want to follow a dream
I want to help people
I want to be a writer

Don't get me wrong, I like working all day for a living, but what I'll be doing is the opposite of where I see myself and I ultimately see it as the bi-polar of my happiness right now. It's not something I'm being forced to choose, but I don't see any other avenue developing and I need to be doing something right now; or at least something better than dishwashing for a mini-restaurant in a supermarket.

Oh, life... Why must ye be so darn compulcated?

Since Vox has more of a personal feel to it, I'll start opening up the floodgates and throw some more personal posts in here every once in a while, but I'll stick to things that let you get to know me a little better (you'll know when to skip these posts from the 'personal' tag :P )

What's one thing that you hope to do or accomplish before the end of this year?

Well, by the end of the year I plan to have a band actually together with material to play. It's been hard to find a drummer and get everyone together in one place for a good few hours. I'm actually going to take a different approach this time; ie. write the songs myself and give them to other people to mess with. I could do it as a solo project with other people lending some creativity where it would be needed, or do it all myself. I like the former though, since it would take less time. I just need enough time off of work to really focus on it all.
